❤️STAG Foundation Legacy Fund - Turning Dreams into Realities!❤️

 

Thanks to you, last year we raised over $157,000 during our paddle raise to support our STAG Foundation Legacy Fund! As good stewards of your dollars, we want you to know how we have already put your generosity to good use this year. Using the returns from the STAG Foundation Legacy Fund, we focused on three critical areas for this school year:

 

  • Expanding and growing our school-wide Learning Services program

  • Offering professional development opportunities for our teachers

  • Providing tuition assistance for Catholic families

The STAG Foundation made it possible to expand our Learning Services program. We work hard to provide the best education possible for all of our students, including those with diverse learning pathways. Currently, 20% of each classroom has students with specific learning needs. With the addition of more staffing, we have been able to equip our students with the learning strategies they need to grow in their education. 

An additional focus area was offering professional development for teachers with Orton-Gillingham training for dyslexia. This training has equipped our teachers with up-to-date knowledge and resources that support the instruction of foundational literacy skills for all students.

Lastly, we were able to grow our tuition assistance endowments housed within the STAG Foundation due to the generosity at last year’s auction. This assistance makes St. Al’s accessible for any Catholic family who desires a Jesuit education for their children.

The creation of the STAG Foundation has allowed us to not only dream about programmatic enrichment opportunities, but to make those dreams a reality! Our DREAM tonight is to raise enough money for the STAG Foundation to fund: 

  • A school counselor

  • Continue to expand our school-wide Learning Services program

  • Continue professional development for teachers

  • And provide even more tuition assistance, making St. Al’s accessible to any family who desires a Jesuit Catholic education for their children
